Celebration

If you are going to have a Fiftieth birthday, you may as well celebrate in style.
Blipper LeeAnne certainly did today and the weather gods cooperated.

The day could not have been better for an outdoor party complete with bouncy castle. Indoors there were eats and drinks and face painting should those be your activities of choice. I imagine some of the gathering would succumb to a bounce or two when the alcohol consumption caught up with them.

I finally got to meet Mr Smith after 14years of following him on Blipfoto . Also present and correct were blippers Cam of the Laterne Rouge café in Gifford and Withers with friend Paula who regularly feature as the naughty friends of LeeAnne.

Daughter#2 agreed to drive me down to the party in Netherbyres House at Eyemouth provided I did not go on the bouncy castle. I stayed long enough to enjoy the company of some of LeeAnne’s friends and have some punch and something to eat, but when people bring you a chair to sit on you know you are the relic in the gathering and it’s time to go. Actually it was because Daughter#2 came back for me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LeeAnne! You certainly put on a wonderful party.
