105/365. Canada Geese
These seem to be everywhere these days and when they start honking it's quite noisy as you probably know. There is a lot of them on the Avon in Stratford and more than a few on the lake at Compton Verney too. I do like to see them flying overhead. Looks like we have a couple of photo bombers on this Blip.
A nice lunch today at The Castle pub at Edgehill, a few miles up the road from us at the top of Sun Rising Hill, and there are wonderful views across the Warwickshire Plain.
As you may know Edgehill is where the first battle of the English Civil War took place on 23rd October 1642 close to the nearby village of Radway. They say that as daylight fades on the anniversary of the battle the sounds of fighting can be heard with bloodcurdling screams too. I'm not sure but as a sensible precaution I always stay away on that date!
Hopefully each and everyone of you wonderful people are having a lovely weekend. x
