In The City

It was due to rain today and it was Rachel's day off so we took the children up into the city for a look around, particularly at the new play area very close to R's office. Not that Daniel needs a designated play area, he climbs on anything he can find.

I chose this shot as it is him feeling on top of the world and it has his mum's workplace in the background.

We had lunch at Wetherspoons, they always have a good choice on the menu. Chicken Tikka Masala? No....that's off. OK, Chicken Jalfrazzi then. No.... that's off. "Mum, you always liked 5-Bean Chilli". OK.... no that's off.

I ended up with an old favourite - scampi & chips.

Originally the children had wanted to go to the cinema but they had a chat about it and thought I wouldn't really enjoy Super Mario so we went home.

A good day out, I haven't been into the city for many, many years.
