in the pink

We had an excellent drive to Bournemouth to visit my parents in law. If we do the journey in 2 hours or under we are quite happy. If it hadn’t been for a car towing a caravan which slowed us up for a while, we would have beaten. The two hours it took. We always go for a walk first, along the sea front which was busy, into town to pick up a couple of bits for my mother in law and then through the park to Westbourne and back to their apartment, nearly 4 miles. I noticed this large bush in the park. It looks very much like my namesake, I.e. Heather but I have never seen such a large bush. 
It was nice to drive all the way home in the light and I was able to sow some more flower seeds. I am catching up.
