An unusually forward dunnock

As I stood on the patio I was surprised when this bird flew straight up the garden and landed on a tree branch nearby. It stood looking at me for a few seconds and then flew to another branch where it was equally overt.

When it did fly away I couldn't think what it was as dunnocks are normally very shy and flighty, as well as preferring to be close to ground level. Unusually forward was how I thought of it.
