Bowness-on-Windemere

It's over :-( our first family holiday for 3 years and Grants first.

Whinfell Forrest, CentreParcs is a fabulous activity filled holiday destination for families with children of 12 years and under....we will definitely be going back...and soon.

Today though after leaving Whinfell Forrest I had planned to head south for an hour to Bowness-on-Windemere for a wander and some lunch but that journey just resulted in Ewan becoming travel sick with the weather horrible as well. So a quick stop for a few holiday snaps of the scenery before heading back towards to the M6 and the journey north with a short stop over at Gretna Services.
