Pinnacle Knob

Today we found our last Cache Across Maryland challenge hide. It was hidden in Kitzmiller Maryland, across the Potomac River from West Virginia. While we were out there, we visited the remains of the Pinnacle Knob Fire Tower in Keyser, WV. The views were incredible, but the drive up the road to the tower was rocky and washed out. We had to leave the car a quarter mile from the tower (extra.) My knees are still shaking from the climb, but the view was fabulous. Apparently, you can see 800 miles from this point. 
I need to look more closely at these locations. It seems that there is an abundance of rattlesnakes in the rocks around this tower.
