Garden

Looking back through my photos I noticed that this time last year we had asparagus spears coming up.
So we went to the garden to see if there were any yet. There were raised lumps pushed up in the plastic. We removed the black plastic from the surface of the asparagus patch and sure enough, there was asparagus coming up. But, without sun exposure, the plants were white. White asparagus is tasty too!
