Colourful corner
For most of the afternoon we have had blue skies and sun. The wind has dropped and it is a whole different world. I have resisted trying the new waterfall design as the cement has taken so long to set but tomorrow we will see if it is a success or a disaster. When we were cooking tea I noticed that the Rhodie hidden behind the Japanese Acer had broken out into flower. The buds have been threatening for days and we are at least 4 weeks behind Inverewe Gardens. Some of the Acer leaves are over exposed as they are in full sun but if you leave it until the whole corner is in the shade then its too dark to take the flowers.
