The Old Bridge

Big weekend In Wilmington with the Azalea Festival in full swing. There were street vendors of all sorts, over 200. Of course there was a parade and an azalea Queen. There were also house and garden tours. There were few azaleas as they always seem to bloom ahead of the festival. We stopped by briefly to check out some of the vendors but managed to get over to the river to get away from the crowds. It was a beautiful evening, warm and summery. We headed over to a BBQ restaurant we’d been wanting to try. Just ok. Very crowded too and very LOUD.
