Still Going Strong

I posted a pic of this cherry tree blossom 5 years ago (I find it hard to believe I have been doing this for that long as I still think of myself as a newbie compared to many of you!).

My comment back then was 'every winter we think this tree has died, and every spring it surprises us'

It still does surprise us. It's over 26 years old now as it was planted when we first moved into the house, new in 1997.

PS update: I forgot to say that Heisenberg the hedgehog is back in residence after a few weeks of just calling in for food. He has kitted his house out with the latest leaf and moss accessories.
