Back Blip

We woke up and it was raining buckets.  We had the reservations to visit the tunnels that go under my town and I was really looking forward to it. I was really pleased with the visit and the explanation.  We just visited some of the tunnels, but we got a pretty good idea.  In the past, they were used for storing food and wine.  During WWII some of them were used by people to take refuge during the bombardments and even after the war was over (extra).

We had lunch with another cousin and in the evening I went to dinner with my brother and his girlfriend.  Besides the rain, that did not stop us, it was a good day.
