Bumbling Around
This is what you call a bit of luck. I was out with the 300mm lens, looking for some interesting bird shots when I spotted this big bumble bee in the violas. I was able to get close enough to get some decent shots, although a heavy crop was needed. And even 1/2000 shutter wasn't enough to freeze the wings. A fun shot, though.
I have been doing some weeding in the garden (my husband will laugh when he reads this as he believes that my entire garden is nothing but weeds.) Also got my suitcase out of the basement, made hummingbird nectar and gathered a few things that I must remember to pack. Jax and I will go for a walk a little later.
Plain dark today.
