Dreary Day

The start of Memorial Day weekend! Except its rainy and cool. Our air conditioning is not working, and for various reasons the repair man had to turn off out heat indefinitely, too. Fortunately we don't need either right now.

Just 3 years ago we had two new central A/C units installed for our upstairs and downstairs...2 zoned cooling...ahh....Bliss... But somehow the heater caused a plastic pan to melt away and left us with a basement full of water last night. Carpet is soaked. Not fun! They'll be out on Tuesday to start repairs. They aren't sure when they'll be finished. Its at least a 2 day job. Hopefully a week from now I will be sitting in cool air again. Even if my wallet is empty.
