A very grand bookshop.
Bradford's Grade 1 listed Wool Exchange building is currently home to a much loved national bookshop. It is located in the main hall of the building, amid tall polished granite columns and beneath a high hammer-beam roof with wrought iron decoration. It was built in the 19th Century in the Gothic Revival style, symbolic of the wealth and importance that wool brought to Bradford and is one of the grandest bookshops in the country!
I'm afraid my iPhone pic of the interior doesn't do the building justice, for which I apologise in advance, but in my defence I would say that I am still trying to come to terms with iphonography!
