Little bits of sunshine

These are the daffodils that Dan got as throw aways from the garden shop about 4 years ago. He healed them in and they have been doing so well. This area used to be part of the mowed lawn which we have given up doing. Now it is just meadow. It's always nice to have the daffodils emerge. I hope they spread though out the area.
A quiet, sort of drizzly day. I have added a link here if you would like to hear our spring peepers (tiny frogs) singing with abandon. This was from our deck. If I should go down to the long pond to record them the sound would be deafening.
