Golden Poplars

Today 16 members of the walking group parked beside the Hawea River, and walked across the swing bridge (1).  Altogether we walked over 8 k's or 11K steps.  The weather was warm and sunny, +21.  The second extra is 'lunch time'.   We had a welcome cuppa at a local cafe before heading for home.  Another lovely day out with good friends.  

PS  The NASA weather balloon is over the Pacific Ocean heading towards Chile.
