Daffodils and dancers

Saturday
A beautiful day , dry, sunny and warm. Spent the first part of the day in the garden and then headed over to Dingwall to pick up David.
Dropped a trailer lock that someone had bought from us in Evanton and then went down to the seafront at Invergordon to eat some lunch. We sat on one of the benches and enjoyed the view :)
The afternoon was spent at the Daffodil Tea at Foulis Castle. Tea, scone and cake were eaten in the small court yard listening to two musicians playing away :)
There was plenty going on for adults and kids. A huge bouncy slide, merry-go-round and Highland dancers, bagpipes etc.Lots of craft stalls, we bought a tapestry picture of Chanonry Point.
You were able to pick a bunch of daffodils to take home. So I picked a lovely bunch of various varieties. It was lovely to see all the children taking care and picking the daffodils carefully. Some needed a bit of guidance from parents ;)
Went back to David’s afterwards. Mike and David made the new step by the front door.Shared fish and chips and a chicken kebab to end the day :)
