Nothing Like a Dame

Dame Barbara Mary Plunkett Green better known as Mary Quant died last week.
I have seen other lovely tributes to her on blip.
To me she was the woman who put an end to women dressing exactly like their mother when they turned a teenager. 
( Remember my duster coat, white gloves and little pill box hat that l wore every Sunday when l was 14).
I thank her for that.
