It was time for Tilly the Wonder Dog to go back home. As much as we have loved her company, she’s needed more with her pack. Tim took her out west and I wandered around Paddington and Marylebone. 

I found a little café and sat in the sunshine, enjoying the warmth on my face and the ease in my bones. I even took my scarf and coat off - spring certainly feels as if it has arrived. I sat with a chai and enjoyed a bit of dolce far niente - the sweetness of doing nothing. 

Extras show other people enjoying the sunshine, a sign of how far we’ve come since the Victorians built Paddington Railway Station, and a display from a beautiful stationery shop because I love stationery shops…
