We heard our first cuckoo today

And it just kept calling, wonderful.

A fine, warm, spring day, the poly tunnel is nearly ready for whatever we decide to plant, there is no point in sowing seeds too early here.

And, when sat eating lunch on the veranda I spotted a lot of bird movement in a large Rowan tree, three bullfinch and one female.

All in all a good day.
