Still with the drops today but don't worry - I'll be clearing it all up shortly and shall probably find something else to play with tomorrow.

I managed to get a valve and length of tube today and it works very well - you simply adjust the valve to get the drip rate you want with no faffing about.

That said, my timing was still rubbish this evening but hey ho - I'm making progress insofar as the setup is gradually getting tidier :)
