Goodwe

The solar inverter at our friends’ place. I set up a Home Assistant installation for them and for some reason I was convinced they had the same type of solar inverter as we are having. This turned out to be false, but luckily this Goodwe inverter wasn’t that difficult to connect to Home Assistant. The biggest problem was configuring the right one, as all the inverters in the street are of the same brand and type. Luckily the WiFi network ID had parts of the serial number in it, making it easy to pick the right inverter. I blurred the serial number in this image…
