Kampen
After a visit to my brother who is 50 years old today, Martine and I drove to Kampen where we saw the show “something really good is still to come” (er staat nog iets heel moois te gebeuren). It’s a show by two comedians, Peter Heerschop and Viggo Waas. The latter has suffered a cerebral infarction and in the show they tell about how it affected them, their friendship and their plans for the future. They managed to tell a raw and true story and they managed to combine this with some very funny comedy. It had me crying and laughing. A very impressive performance. It was special to see this with Martine, who works with people with brain damage.
After the show, we took a detour to our hotel, so we could discuss things somewhat more. A very special event… On the way back I captured this narrow street of which there are many in Kampen.
