Landscaping

Fetched some shopping  for Jacqui this afternoon, and bumped into Carol and Carolyn in the shop. Hugs all round, and a meet up arranged! 

Accompanied Jacqui on part of her walk with Fletch, then continued on at a faster pace to stretch my legs. Came back past the distillery, where the landscaping is well underway. Some more-formal planting around the building, but on the slope up to the footpath three large circular patches full of cowslips. Glad to see that they've left the broom and gorse bushes, and chosen hawthorn and wild roses for the hedge behind the metal fence. The whole site looks good!

Frustrating day as far as the house purchase is concerned - no further communication from the solicitor, despite last week's assertions that she would confirm dates and email forms, and the removal firm still needs to confirm dates when they're available. Tomorrow maybe...
