Lady's slippers

One of North America's native orchids, Lady's slippers can be found in a number of climes and is fairly easy to cultivate, making these showy beauties quite popular with gardeners. This one was on the edge of the burn unit we did a couple weeks ago (grass is already popping up in the burned patches!)
