Cardinal at the feeder

Following on from yesterdays blip, it was hilarious today watching the squirrels desperately trying to get to the seeds in the bird feeder, now we've cut the branch back they were jumping from. They kept trying to get up the pole, but they would be 'baffled' by the squirrel baffle. So then they tried standing on the bird bath - Laura saw one of them make a flying leap from there, but fall way short and fall to the ground. The garden waste bin was also nearby and they tried that too, but that also was too far. Eventually, one of them did manage to jump from the cut-back branch, but at least its made it more difficult for them, and provided us with entertainment! So today you get a cardinal at the feeder.

Laura and I both went swimming this morning, and shopping this afternoon. Now I need to go and get some ironing done, so night all!
