A very early start to the day, to the hospital and then a quick trip to another hospital and back. Surgery went as planned and I was fit enough to go home. My right boob and armpit are well bandaged up.
In one of the hospital courtyards, there were this large family of ducklings and mama duck. They definitely brought a smile to my face as I slowly wandered through the corridors to the carpark, with Rosie taking good care of me.
Harry and Selena ordered takeaway, which was much appreciated. I managed to stay awake until 9 o’clock.
