From the small to the really, really, big. We visited Debenhams for the first time in ages today and were very pleasantly surprised. I was also surprised by the Cotswolds store - they promised to price match their competitors - I saw that Amazon were undercutting their price on a pair of walking trousers by £12, and the Cotswolds shop agreed to match Amazon - result! We celebrated with a slap-up meal in Nandos.

The latest on the exam front: today's students didn't have to cheat- they were allowed to bring in three pages of notes and use them to construct their answers. Some of the punters managed to bring in what looked like a text-book's worth of info (in very small writing).
