Murano

Another soggy day in Venice. We wrapped up, put on sensible shoes and set out to the island of Murano which is famous for its glass factory. Yet another beautiful place where boats replace cars. Lots of glass shops to be enjoyed :) We all came home with pretty pieces of coloured glass in various shapes and sizes!

Then a soggy boat journey to St Marcs Square..the most famous place in Venice! Lots of people and a forest of umbrellas!
