The Pentlands Circular

Another big walking day - this time, much closer to home ...

... 'R' and I undertook the bulk of the main 'Pentlands Circular Walk', and although there was no snow, the conditions were simply stunning!

Main snap shows the full-length of the principal Pentlands ridge, 1st extra the tops immediately surrounding Glencorse Reservoir; 2nd extra a shot of 'R' as we approached the highest peak - Scald Law.

Our full route encompassed: starting at The Flotterstone Inn; out along the reservoirs' approach road for a short distance; up towards Bell's Hill; around Bell's Hill; up and around Black Hill; over to and up Scald Law; over to and up Carnethy Hill; back down to The Flotterstone Inn :-)
