The Neighbours

CMC left for Kirkwall to play badminton, strange really – she hasn’t even got a racket.  Just after she had left I received a message to say my sackbut lesson had been cancelled.  Apparently, my tutor has been asked to leave the County - for possessing a sackbut.  Fair enough I suppose.  He’s moving to Santa Clara Valley.  At least he won’t be pestered anymore with Blanche and Desmond.  Speaking of whom – they may be at the Rock tonight to cheer on the Binos.
 
For the remainder of the day I planted cabbages, edged the lawn and a myriad of other things which will not alter the pattern of the planet’s rotation.
