Walnuts

A was making carrot cake this evening and needed walnuts, so I walked across to Lidl to buy some. The light on the Town Hall was very pretty. I also bought a beer to toast И's sister getting the engineering design job for which she was interviewed last week.

Earlier I'd walked Django and been out to get a haircut, requiring me to find cash. Neither ATM in town accepts my card, so I had to get cash from Tesco, all adding to the time it took. Then I found myself with a trainee barber who essentially only spoke Turkish. Fortunately his boss translated and eventually finished the job!

I did get a lot of work done too, and am now ready for my trip on Thursday
