Old friends and family

Great day today as I managed to get some time with a long time friend from Glasgow who is in the North visiting family.

It was a great catch up and even better we met Tamsin in union sq by chance and I got to introduce an old friend to a newish friend.

We managed to coax Mark away from the telly for about 20 mins for a short walk. He even demonstrated the new equipment at the park. Jamie complained that it wasn't balanced properly!

Much calmer day than yesterday. There is the lovely sound of birds chirping as the sun goes down rather than a howling gale
