a regatta was taking place on the Grand Canal today, so there was lots of gondala's, canoes and rowing boats to watch :)

after watching them for abit we headed into what is known as the ghetto...a quiet, non touristy part of Venice which i think is more beautiful than the St Marcs area!

more ice cream and take away wine on the Grand Canal :)
