Iris in the Morning

It rained in the middle of the night, unusual enough that it woke me up, and then I stayed awake, wondering if any windows were open, if the chairs were under the patio cover, if, if, if.  So it was a slow day. But I just had an excellent massage and I’m taller and perkier and I feel like a heavy veil has been lifted from my head and shoulders.

I recommend looking at this in Large. For one thing, you can see the whole image at once, and for another, the black background really makes it pop.
