Cedar waxwing

I'm still hard at work processing the pictures I took on our recent trip. With that to do and the unpacking and laundry, I haven't had time for much of anything else...including commenting. Hopefully I will get back to the routine soon. This evening I dashed down to the river bank to capture a picture. One is about all I anticipated, but I actually blipped a robin, a cardinal, and this cedar waxwing...all in about five minutes. Isn't he a beauty? I tried unsuccessfully all last summer to find a waxwing, finally tonight...Success!
