Tarbert Castle

This evening I was at the Clyde Cruising Club event for the Scottish Series, the annual yacht racing festival held in Tarbert, Loch Fyne.

This is its 39th year and the Scottish Government, through Event Scotland, had contributed some money to promote the "Year of Natural Scotland" about which I said a word or two.

Before hand I walked up to Tarbert Castle which has been wonderfully cleared and stabilised in recent years by community effort. I am back next week for their "Medieval Melee" !
