My favourite painting

"What's your favourite painting?" I asked this wee boy, Donnacha, at tonight's launch of our Forth Valley Open Studios exhibition.
Without hesitation he ran up to this colourful one.

His mother, Caroline Carmichael had painted it.

Lesley Duncan Poetry Editor and art critic of The Herald officially opened the exhibition held this year for the first time in Stirling University.

She complimented the artists on the diversity of work and wealth of creativity on display.
