Wind Speed!

What a rush for a blip tonight! We had planned to go out and catch the sunset with some stormy clouds....but erm....I fell asleep on the sofa and at 9:15 my other half still offered to take me out in search of a field and some clouds!! I used the D5200 with the ultra wide angle. Wanted to close everything down to catch the clouds racing above me...which I think came out quite well. No need for any lighting up of the image as it came out ok. Well not bad for a rush job hey.

I had intended to blip my Heron shot if it went in the paper today but like a child waiting for the sweet shop to open when I got the paper alas it was not in there.....so being a pushy little Dragon I wrote to the Deputy Editor and asked if I had missed the boat so to speak, but he said there was a waiting list for images and he was sure my Heron shot was being lined up for next week!
So I wait some more and I still might get it in the paper after all!!
