Drying on the windowsill

I was beaten by one point last night, and ended up second on the night and second overall for the year in the seasonal points competition.  I was beaten by another lady, definitely a worthy winner, so can't be disappointed.  Sniff!

JJ went to golf this morning and I nipped over to MK for a few bits.  It's much easier shopping alone.  I called in at Wex to order a "decorative collar" for my 100-400 lens.  I don't keep the heavy angled collar on it but it has been recommended that a collar to cover the studs is a good idea.

This afternoon I've been up to my friend's for afternoon tea and a natter and once home a neighbour called asking me to sign her "Power of Attorney" forms.  We need to do ours even though it means running off a hundred or more pages.  Solicitors charge a bomb and apparently it's very easy to do yourself.

My tulips had started to droop and so they are now on the conservatory windowsill to dry.
