My alternative blip for the day was another charity donation request. The British Heart Foundation sent me a questionnaire to find out what I know about heart disease, and then asked if I would give them money on the back. No. I will give money to whom I want, when I want, and in fact I'm tempted to not ever give money to the people who send me begging letters.

But this one won, mostly because I noticed I also blipped it a year ago (on the equivalent work day). The sky looked in considerably better condition that day, and I'd walked to work. Today I drove, the weather looking a bit threatening, but mostly because I was ill and shouldn't actually have gone. I did though, as we were supposed to be short-staffed.
