Friend for Coda

We fetched Pumpkin (yes, that's her name!) from the Jeffry's Bay animal welfare today. She is the sweetest dog and, after exploring the garden, front and back, the house and hubby's studio, she decided that we are ok!!
Coda just wanted to play but Pumpkin was too busy exploring. This evening they are both asleep in their own beds - Coda's bed was her choice at first.
After feeling quite apprehensive about getting another dog, I have a feeling of relief.
I do feel exhausted tonight and an early night is called for.
Hopefully she will sleep through the night...
