Iseo

Today we left Clusane and walked to Iseo then uphill to our next hotel, 416m above Lake Iseo. A very chilled day with a slow lakeside lunch then a fine steep walk on the newly established long distance path, Via Valeriana. We were fortunate that the forecast thunderstorm arrived just after we reached the hotel - fascinating to watch it rolling down the lake as we sipped a welcome glass of the local white wine.
