Swaying Palm Trees
It was a rainy Hawaiian Day so we went for a drive to explore the downtown of Kona. You can see the Palm trees swaying in the wind and the waves crashing on the Lava shore. It was even too windy for the surfers.
The extra photo is of my husband watching waves crashing at a park established at the old Kona airport. It isn't a great place to snorkel, even in the best weather, but today it would have been miserable.
By 5:30 PM the rain stopped and the sun came out so we walked down to where we like to snorkel; therefore, you have one poor underwater fish photo for the second extra.
