Shallow DoF!

I love shallow depth of field simply because it makes you work a little harder when taking photographs.  How close to the subject do you get?  How wide to open the lens?  What do I want in focus and what do I want out of focus are all questions going through your mind.

In this shot the lens was wide open - f1.4!
