Edinburgh skyline

I blipped this on my way back from J's in Innerleithen where we sat in the sun in her garden and also made date slices for her writing group which was a first for both of us. They turned out well and I may make them for myself - and others. 

This route home goes through the Moorfoot Hills and is very scenic although a bit longer than going via Peebles. You can see Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags on the right and on the left, the castle and the Royal Mile leading down towards the crags.

Alfie wasn't very impressed at my returning so late, Lexi didn't seem to care much.
