Play day!

Early, station start,
organising bags, but then..
day out with my mum!

Took mr KCNQ2Haiku to the station for a work trip to Birmingham and then got breakfast for Ben and packed his school stuff and things I would need for Leo for the day. Dropped Ben, had a walk in the park by school and drove over to my mum’s in Buxton. Grotty traffic but it worked out in the end. I saw her dog trainer friend which was useful. She said Leo is more confident than last time she saw him (you’re telling me :-D ) Then we had a walk and lunch and another walk into the shops, all before I had to set off to fetch Ben. I came home over the cat and fiddle which I only ever attempt in glorious sunshine as I’m a big wimp :-D but the view was stunning. I stopped in a lay by to take this photo, it’s just on the phone but it gives the flavour. Ben was good when I fetched him, then I saw the neighbours who also adore Leo, did some hoovering, mopped half-heartedly and now Ben wants to play First Aid. Sigh. Better go :-)
