Introduction to Mah Jong

I have several friends who play Mah Jong. I have never played it  so today one friend offered to teach three of us the basics of the game. I knew we had a set in the house so I have just got it out as per the blip. I don’t recall it ever being used by my family!  I’m not sure if I will be playing regularly but will give it a go for a few sessions as she lives within walking distance.

Earlier in the day I went to the Ivy at Richmond for lunch to meet an old school friend who I have not seen for many many years. Interesting to hear what she has been up to in the intervening years……a very different career as an artist to what I have done!
