Guess where we went today…

…to Kendal to visit Tonya and Yurii!
It was great to see them and they’re doing really well.
Yurii is working for Lakeland Gardeners full time, based at Windermere.
Tonya is volunteering in Oxfam shops and in a cancer charity shop - the latter with a view to paid employment. 
They have a car - an oldish one but it runs OK.
Tonya made us a lovely meal and we ate together when Yurii arrived home from work.
Then we went for a walk round Kendal - Yurii showed us all the secret back streets he’s found and where we had never been. It’s such a lovely wee town and they are really happy there.
Bella was ecstatic when she saw them - she was yelping and wagging her whole body.

On the way to Kendal we called at Kirby Lonsdale - a favourite place and the market was on. I bought some bedding plants from one stall and a lovely tiny set of drawers from another that the lady had decorated herself.
She also does lino print and I asked her if she does courses but she said not at present but may do in the future.

It was a lovely day.
